Maintenance Operator

How long have you been working at NMS?

I have been working at NMS for around six months. Although that may not seem very long, the experience has been extremely rewarding: I had the opportunity to quickly become part of the laboratory team and develop both technically and professionally.

How would you describe your role as an electronics laboratory technician at NMS?

I mainly diagnose, test and repair electronic components and systems. On a daily basis, I analyse faults, use measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators, and support the team in validating technical solutions.

My role requires precision, an analytical mindset and the ability to quickly identify the root cause of problems.

What do you enjoy about your work?

I enjoy the practical, technical and challenging nature of the job. Every component has its own story and every fault is a small puzzle to solve, which makes every day different.

I also appreciate the laboratory environment: it is clean, organised and structured, allowing me to work with focus and precision. There is also a real sense of personal satisfaction when a device works again thanks to my intervention. I also feel that I am constantly developing, learning to use new tools and new methods.

How long have you been working at NMS?

I have been working at NMS for eight months. Although that may seem like a short time, it has been a very intensive period: I have had the opportunity to develop quickly, discover different operational environments and work with skilled colleagues who helped me settle in immediately.

How would you describe your role as an operator at NMS? Every day, I carry out both routine and exceptional maintenance and resolve technical issues. It is a dynamic job that requires attention to detail, strong diagnostic skills, responsiveness and teamwork.

What do you enjoy about your work?

I enjoy the variety of tasks: every day brings new challenges, which means I am constantly learning. I particularly enjoy the problem-solving aspect of the job: identifying a fault, understanding its cause and finding the most effective solution is extremely rewarding.

The working environment is also very positive: we collaborate, share knowledge and progress together. This makes the work more motivating and encourages me to always give my best.
